Back in the old days, discrimination was pretty clear. Racial epithets. Horrible, boorish sexual harassment. Firings because you were “old” or “disabled.”
Today, most businesses and many workers are far too smart to call someone the N-word or continually touch someone in places they have no business touching. Our society has made some advancements–fortunately.

Lisa May, executive producer at KSFY-TV, has left.
I had the pleasure of working with Lisa when I was executive producer at KSFY. She is a woman of great integrity, hard work, and outstanding news judgment. She’s also been at KSFY for over 20 years. Many a young journalist has learned how to be a good journalist from Lisa’s mentorship through the years.

I’m not sure what a Kindle is but you can now get SD Watch on it if you subscribe to Newstex. Newstex syndicates this blog. Here’s a blurb from Newstex about Kindle:
